Flos Gun Bedside Lamp - 18k Gold
The 18-karat gold Flos Gun Bedside Lamp was designed by Phillippe Starck and makes a statement about the fragility of life. In contrast to the gold plated body of the lamp is the black shade – symbolising the links between money and death. Designed to shock, the lamp is ideal for direct reading light as well as ambient lighting. 20% of sales from the Gun range are donated to anti-poverty charity Frères Des Hommes.

Description
Philippe Starck's intention with the Gun Lamp range from Flos was to create objects which remind us that our own state of well being is the result of somebody else dying.
The Gun Bedside Lamp design is based on a Beretta pistol hand gun and has a body made of die cast aluminium with an injection moulded polymer overprint.
The base of the Gun Bedside Lamp is available in an 18K gold plated finish. The diffuser or shade is matt black plasticized paper with a silk screen gold printer inner.
