Description
The Melt range of lights by Tom Dixon is a series of asymmetrical, distorted spherical pendant lights. These are half metallised to create an unusual optical effect - casting an ethereal luminosity on their surroundings. Mini Melt is the smallest of the two sizes available and this one has a smoked finish. The bulb can be seen when it is switched on together with the true effect. It comes with integrated LED.

Tom Dixon
Born in Sfax, Tunisia in 1959 Tom Dixon moved to England in 1963 and studied at the Chelsea School of Art. Among his most notable designs are his S Chair for Cappellini and his highly successful Jack Light for another of his own manufacturing ventures, Eurolounge. His own company, Tom Dixon, also manufacturers the now iconic chrome Mirror Ball and Copper Ball lights and the more recent Beat Lights and Pressed Glass range - Lens, Bowl and Tube.
