Description

Bold and dramatic, the Ninotchka 425 Pendant Light by LYFA was designed by Bent Karlby in 1954. With organic curves and a sculptural silhouette, this iconic pendant draws the eye and makes a great conversation piece. Inspired by a hat worn by the Swedish Hollywood star Greta Garbo in her 1939 film, Ninotchka, the conception of this light is a great example of art inspiring other works of art.

The asymmetric steel shade casts a wide, even downlight and a soft, ambient uplight. It looks truly striking when clustered with other pendants from the Ninotchka range, but is certainly commanding enough to suspend alone in the centre of a room. Pair with the 195 Pendant or the 275 Pendant to create a fuller, brighter light.

Available in three rich colours and comes with a matching fabric cord.
