Nature Study | The New Modern

Scandinavian influences has been at the forefront of some of the hottest interior trends of the last few years. While early adopters of the 'Scandi Style' opted for predominantly white rooms with black and grey accents, we're seeing a shift in attitudes this year. The clean lines and muted tones remain but we're noticing a warmer, more textural approach to their application. The behemoth that was the 'Hygge' lifestyle trend made us covet a cosy setting - nestled into a soft sofa, covered in a blanket and reading a book whilst sipping on some warm tea. This combined with the fact that we're coming into the cooler months calls for a contemporary twist on Scandinavian Simplicity.
