Description
The Ikebana Vase from Fritz Hansen was designed by Spanish artist and designer Jamie Hayon. Inspired by the Japanese tradition, "Ikebana' - the art of flower arranging, a tradition that dates all the way back to the 7th century. The vase has been designed to honour the whole flower, with a sleek punched brass frame, that elegantly separates each stem. Available in two sizes the Ikebana Vase is a beautiful eye-catching addition to any interior that will show case the beauty of nature.

Jaime Hayon
Spanish artist-designer Jaime Hayon has shot to international acclaim through his use of designing with the intent of preserving and updating traditional objects through new forms of materials and technologies. His work is strongly characterized by his childhood passions, skateboard culture and graffiti art. Hayon set up his own design business in 2006 and has since collaborated with some of the word's most influential brands, including Fritz Hansen, Established and Sons, Moooi, Swarovski and his ongoing work as a creative consultant for the Spanish porcelain manufacturer Lladró. The Ro Chair and Favn Sofa are some of his most recent projects.
