Celebrating 50 Years of Panthella
2021 marks half a century since the introduction of Verner Panton's Panthella Lamp.
To celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Verner Panton’s iconic design, Louis Poulsen are adding some exciting new additions to the Panthella family. To complete the range, Louis Poulsen introduces the Panthella Table 320, a new table lamp in a medium size that meets the functional requirements of contemporary spaces. The 320 and the Panthella Mini are also launching in a brass metallised finish.
The Panthella lamps, a family of design classics, have been illuminating interiors for 50 years. Panthella's reflective nature means they give off more light than traditional lamps with a soft, inviting glow. Their organic silhouette has proven to be a timeless design.

50 Years of Iconic Design
Danish architect Verner Panton developed Panthella in 1971, it has since been recognised as one of his most popular designs. With its non-glaring light and soft mushroom silhouette, Panthella continues to serve as a timelessly appealing design.
Regardless of material, colour and size, floor or table, Panthella lifts interiors with its playful form and smooth curves. Whether in the privacy of a home, a workplace, a hotel or a cocktail bar, Panthella lamps elevate the surrounding space.

Shaping Light
Panton intended to create a lamp where both the stand and the shade served as a reflector, creating a soft glow. With its gently diffused light, Panthella serves as a beautiful example of Verner Panton’s sense for creating atmospheric lighting. The Panthella family includes a floor lamp, a range of table lamps and a portable lamp. There really is a Panthella to suit every requirement.
