Description
Kartell Take Table Lamp by Ferruccio Laviani is his interpretation of a the classic side lamp, re-imagined here in polycarbonate, giving it a playful appeal. With a two dimensional appearance it's comprised of two symmetrical parts, two flat rectangular elements and two dimensional plates, giving the impression of being a half lamp. Emitting an ambient glow, Take makes an ideal bedside or table lamp.

Ferruccio Laviani
Ferruccio Laviani is an Italian designer born in 1960. After completing a degree in architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan in 1986, he worked at the Studio De Lucchi where he undertook projects for a diverse range of well-respected brands including Abet Laminati, Memphis and Polaroid.
Since 1991, Laviani has worked closely with Kartell and now designs exclusively for them, alongside some other world renowned designers including Antonio Citterio, Patricia Urquiola and Phillipe Starck. Some of his earliest designs he produced for Kartell such as the iconic Fly Pendant Light and the Bourgie Table Lamp are still best selling items worldwide, showing the timeless appeal and quality of this designer's work.
