Description
The Lune Sofa, designed by Jaime Hayon for Fritz Hansen, is the very essence of warm and cosy. In various sizes the range has a dash of exclusivity and urbanity and combined with the quality of the Fritz Hansen brand is a sofa with a strong pedigree. The word Lune - a Danish word - means both a reference to a temperature as well as to a feeling of comfort. With the collection Jaime Hayon has taken the flexibility of a modular system and added an aesthetic layer to create a sofa built from several modules with the visual expression of one singular sofa. As well as this large five seat/corner version Lune comes in various options for you to create the sofa of your choice.
Legs can be selected in either brushed aluminium, black coloured or natural oak.

Jaime Hayon
Spanish artist-designer Jaime Hayon has shot to international acclaim through his use of designing with the intent of preserving and updating traditional objects through new forms of materials and technologies. His work is strongly characterized by his childhood passions, skateboard culture and graffiti art. Hayon set up his own design business in 2006 and has since collaborated with some of the word's most influential brands, including Fritz Hansen, Established and Sons, Moooi, Swarovski and his ongoing work as a creative consultant for the Spanish porcelain manufacturer Lladró. The Ro Chair and Favn Sofa are some of his most recent projects.
