Flos Luminator Floor Lamp, Light Blue
The Flos Luminator Floor Lamp is a classic Achille & Pier Castiglioni design. Here it has been given a contemporary makeover with a light blue stem. This pioneering design stands close to two metres tall, giving it a stunning presence in any room.

Description
The Flos Luminator Floor Lamp was originally Designer by brothers Achille & Pierre Giacomo Castiglioni in 1954. Here it has been given a colourful makeover with a stem in light blue and black legs. A simple tripod stand with a long galvanized stem on which the bulb is mounted this is architectural simnplicity at its purest.
Luminator is a simple idea which uses the ceiling of a room to provide light diffusion.

Achille Castiglioni
Achille Castiglioni (1918 - 2002) was an Italian architect and remains one of our most prolific designers of twentieth century iconic products such as the Arco Lamp, Taraxacum and Fucsia lights for Flos as well as many other lighting designs and numerous household items for Alessi. MoMA in New York features 14 of his works and he has received seven Compasso d'Oro awards.
