Karin Meenen invites you to take a seat
Your favourite design icons, celebrated in stunning watercolour.
Scrolling through Instagram can often feel like a never-ending parade of visuals, but every so often, a true gem catches your eye and compels you to pause. That's exactly what happened when we stumbled upon Nukarisha, and account owned by the incredibly talented Karin Meenen. Her unique style and captivating use of color and detail immediately stopped us in our tracks.
Berlin-based illustrator and graphic designer Karin Meenen has a passion for all things interior design, but especially chairs. She noted that chairs “not only contribute to the functional use of a space but also have a significant impact on the aesthetics, atmosphere and social dynamics of a room”.
Karin’s affection for design is evident in her watercolour work, whether it be a painting of a single seat, or a busy poster featuring a collection of chairs. Her work satisfies her itch to buy - a sustainable way of adding her design favourites to her home without worrying about money, or space. Luckily, the rest of us lesser talented mortals can do the same because Karin’s prints are available to purchase on her website www.nukarisha.com

Follow Karin on Instagram @Nukarisha or shop her print collection online at www.nukarisa.com.
