Description

The Tom Dixon Bell Portable Lamp in gold from Tom Dixon features a hyper polished domed surface which takes on the tone and characterristics of its surrdoundings. Providing soft diffused light from below the dome sits above a weighted base. Being portable this is a hightly practical lamp which can be used outdoors - perfect for adding extra atmosphere to al fresco socialising. It will provide 7-9 hours of light from a 5 hour charge and is touch dimmable.

Tom Dixon

Born in Sfax, Tunisia in 1959 Tom Dixon moved to England in 1963 and studied at the Chelsea School of Art. Among his most notable designs are his S Chair for Cappellini and his highly successful Jack Light for another of his own manufacturing ventures, Eurolounge. His own company, Tom Dixon, also manufacturers the now iconic chrome Mirror Ball and Copper Ball lights and the more recent Beat Lights and Pressed Glass range - Lens, Bowl and Tube.
