Richard Sapper was born in Munich in 1932 and studied philosophy, anatomy, graphics, engineering and economics. His work for Alessi is featured here, including his first project, the Espresso Coffee Maker, 9090. His next great achievement for Alessi was the Sapper Kettle. We also feature his work for Magis and Artemide.
