The Bank Pendant Light from Audo draws inspiration from glass globe diffusers of the 1920's Art Deco period and light fittings commonly seen in many historic landmarks, bistros, offces and other public spaces. In fact, it was on a trip to New York City, when a certain vintage-style pendant repeatedly caught the eye of Norm Architect founders Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Rønn that the idea for Bank was born.

Norm Architects’ take on this retro pendant reflects the designers’ focus on functional, simple, and timeless objects that leave nothing more to add or take away. In the Bank

Pendant, ornamentation has been removed to reveal the essence of the omni-light form, which generates 320 degree illumination. The pairing of opal mouth-blown glass with black powder coated aluminum creates beautiful contrasts, with gently curved edges throughout the design creating the soft, unified expression Norm Architects are known for.
