Artek Kiulu Bench
The Artek Kiula Bench is a design based on the 'Kiulu' (the Finnish word for sauna bucket) and represents a fusion of public bathing in both Finland and Japan. In two sizes and three finishes, each bench features twin 'buckets' at the end for storage.

Why you'll love the Kiulu Bench
The Kiulu Bench was designed by Japanese designer Koichi Futatsumata who was inspired between the public bathing cultures of both Finland and Japan and their dual purpose of social hub and cleansing ritual. The bench itself also serves two purposes, it's both a seat and storage solution. The word 'Kiulu' means sauna bucket in Finnish and is used in the public baths of both countries. Here each bench has twin buckets for storage of towels and magazines, toys or even a pot plant. The bench comes in two sizes and three colour options including lacquered birch, black or a vibrant red.
