First produced around 1950, the 9205 Table Lamp is a classic, almost archetypal lamp with an unmistakable Tynell aesthetic. Elegant and slender, the lamp’s apparently simple form conceals an extraordinary degree of craftsmanship and highly skilled hand-making.

Description
The 9205 Table Lamp, designed by Pavoo Tynell, is an elegant and slender lamp whose simple form conceals an extraordinary degree of craftsmanship and highly skilled hand-making.
The canvas model's shade is assembled by affixing the fabric to a liner, which is subsequently manually secured to a wire frame. In the case of the bamboo, it is crafted from a set of slats that are initially hand-stitched together to form a folded mat before being connected to the liner and frame, offering a modern twist on Taito's original design.
The stem is meticulously machined with a pattern resembling rattan, achieved by a skilled metalsmith using a lathe to imitate the appearance of overlapping strips. A brass plate is fastened to the stem to hold the shade in position.
