Description
Sharing the same stylish features and comfort as the Series 430 Chair, the Verpan Series 430 Bar Stool is an elegant study in simplicity. Designed in 1967 by the legendary Verner Panton, Series 430 was designed to provide the same amount of comfort as an armchair. He did so by applying traditional webbing to the fully upholstered seat to adjust for body weight and create a wide nestling backrest and place it on a slender linear frame that mounts on the outside of the seat and back. The Series 430 Bar Stool is fitted with a solid footrest.

Architect and designer Verner Panton started out as an assistant to Arne Jacobsen. His eccentricity earned him a reputation as Denmark's most controversial designer.
