Description
Designed in 1980 by legendary mid-century designer Verner Panton, the Pantop Table lamp has since gained icon status. Characterised but its bell-shaped silhouette, the unique shade which flares widely towards the aperture directly light to the area directly beneath it. This downward facing light makes the lamp ideal for use as a task or reading light. Whether placed on an office desk or a bedside table, this beautiful lamp will add a playful splash of colour to any modern home.

Architect and designer Verner Panton started out as an assistant to Arne Jacobsen. His eccentricity earned him a reputation as Denmark's most controversial designer. He also earned a reputation for lighting with an instinct for creating atmosphere. Here we feature some of his most iconic designs for Vitra including the iconic Panton Chair.
