Description
The Vitra Grand Relax Lounge Chair & Ottoman is a match made in heaven for relaxing. This luxurious relaxing lounge chair, designed by Antonio Citterio, combines outstanding comfort with compact dimensions and a classic, understated aesthetic.
Upholstered in several colour choices of premium grade the Grand Relax features seat and back cushions which sit loosely on the chair but snugly envelop the user and always return to their original shape when the user gets up. When sitting down, the user sinks slowly into the cushions, while a concealed integrated mechanism absorbs the weight and moves the chair into a reclined position. The seat and backrest move independently in synchronised motion. A control knob can be rotated to adjust the resistance of the mechanism, and the backrest can be locked at any angle. Mounted on an elegant four-star base made of aluminium, the lounge chair can be rotated 360°. With a matching ottoman the frames is available in polished aluminium or a basic powder coated dark finish.
Please Note: The back shell, the understructure of the seat and ottoman, and the adjustment knob for backrest resistance are covered in 'Leather Forte'. This has a decorative finish applied to the leather in a patented finishing process.
