Vitra EA105, EA107, EA108 Aluminium Group Chair
This Eames Chair is from the 'soft pad' range of aluminium group chairs which rate amongst the great achievements in the design history of the 20th century. Each of the EA chairs differ slightly, with the EA105 featuring a swivel feature with no arms, the EA107 with armrests but no swivel and the EA108 featuring both armrests and a swivel feature.

Description
The chairs in the Aluminium Group from Vitra are the most famous creations by Charles & Ray Eames. Designed in 1958 they rate amongst the great achievements in the design history of the 20th century. An important characteristic of the Aluminium Group Chair is the intelligent combination of materials. It has a clear, transparent form and its construction is clearly visible. Aluminium sections lend the chair both stability and lightness. The material is fixed into the side sections, yet fitted loosely so that it follows the line of the body and is comfortable without requiring extensive upholstery. This material is not a cover but an integral part of the design.
There are three variations here, all of which have been designed and are suitable for use as a conference chair.
EA105 - No arms or swivel feature
EA107 - Has armrests but no swivel feature.
EA108- Has armrests and a swivel feature.
All options come with either a chromed, polished aluminium or deep black frame and are available with leather, Hopsak or Netweave upholstery, in a variety of colours.

Leather : sturdy calf hide with pronounced grain
Hopsak : 100% polyamide fabric
Netweave : 72% plastic, 28% polyester mesh
As with Aluminium Group Chairs the EA105, EA107 and EA108 come with a thirty year Vitra guarantee.

Charles & Ray Eames
American husband and wife design duo Charles and Ray Eames have had a profound influence on the visual character of American life, producing original work within the fields of architecture, furniture design, industrial design, manufacturing and the photographic arts.
The Eames’ first partnered with Vitra in 1957 to produce some of the most iconic pieces of furniture in the history of interior design. Today Vitra continues to reflect their philosophy on design and functionality, best understood through Charles’ own words: “Recognising the need is the primary condition for the design”.
