Charlotte Perriand
Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999) is one of the most influential interior and furniture designers of the 20th century and early modern movement. Her talent for experimentation with materials such as steel, glass and aluminium introduced the 'machine age' aesthetic to interiors. Perriand is best known for her ten year collaboration with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret whose creations include legendary design classics LC4 Chaise Longue and LC7 Swivel Chair from Cassina. Later, her work expanded to include a range of new materials and techniques, as seen in the Plana Coffee Table.
