Originally designed by acclaimed Italian architect and designer Vico Magistretti, the Nemo Lighting Claritas Floor Lamp is regarded as one of the defining lighting designs of modern Italian design history. Combining functional engineering with refined geometric balance, Claritas embodies a timeless architectural aesthetic that remains strikingly contemporary today.
Claritas has a unique and elegant form, created with bent metal tubes that offer an industrial aesthetic,. It's painted with a black finish though part of the structure remains in chrome. "Claritias" means luminosity in Latin and this floor light emits an indirect light where the shade can be altered by tilting it up to 90° or rotating up to 340° allowing you to position it whichever way you prefer. This can also be adjusted with the aid of the incorporated dimmer. Balancing industrial character with sophisticated proportions, the Claritas Floor Lamp works beautifully in reading corners, living spaces, studios, and design-led commercial interiors. The carefully considered geometry creates a sculptural presence even when unlit, while the adjustable light source provides exceptional versatility and visual comfort.
