Originally designed by Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in 1960 the Louis Poulsen AJ Mini Table Lamp is one of many Jacobsen designs that has since gained icon status and is utterly timeless. AJ emits a downward directed light and the angle of the shade can be adjusted to optimise light distribution creating a stunning ambience that will look ideal in dining rooms, offices and hotels. The shade is painted white on the inside to ensure a soft comfortable light.

Arne Jacobsen

Arne Jacobsen was born in Copenhagen in 1902 and graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in architecture in 1927. He was prolific both as an architect and as a designer. He is most famous for designing the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, and for the interior, the Egg and Swan Chair together with the Swan Sofa and Series 3300 with Fritz Hansen. This propelled the Arne Jacobsen name into furniture history.
