“Now, the time has come to (re)discover these masterpieces” - Louis Poulsen

AJ Floor Outdoor

Arne Jacobsen’s AJ Floor lamp from 1957 has become as iconic as the total work of art he designed it for, the Copenhagen SAS Royal Hotel (Radisson Collection), which is recognised by many as the world’s first design hotel

The AJ lamp series is thought to be Arne Jacobsen’s best-known design worldwide, with its characteristic straight lines, its combination of oblique and right angles and its elegant downward-directed light.

An exciting addition to the AJ series is the brand new AJ Garden Bollard, which takes the sophisticated design outdoors, providing exceptional light, perfect for wayfinding.

AJ Oxford Table Lamp

A wonderful reintroduction in the spring of 2023 is the AJ Oxford Table Lamp, which Arne Jacobsen designed for the modernist St. Catherine’s College in Oxford, England in the 1960s. It is perhaps his most highly praised total work of art, and is still used for teaching and student accommodation. Form playfully follows function in the AJ Oxford Table lamp, where the stem becomes the stand and the cord continues the visual line, with the sculptural shade balancing the expression.

The AJ Oxford Table is reintroduced in two different heights and with or without the metal top shade, for impeccable and charismatic lighting everywhere in the home – from a home office desk to a windowsill and bedside table.

Patera 300 Pendant Light

What makes the Patera so unique, both in design and lighting properties, is its structure. Based on the Fibonacci sequence the pendant is a sphere of small glowing diamond-shaped cells. Each cell is designed to capture and reflect light, while also shielding it.

The brilliant mathematical structure makes the pendant glow, free of glare from every angle above 45 degrees while providing direct light below for an ideal working light, depending on how the light is dimmed. The latest Patera in Ø300 fits perfectly in smaller spaces like a children's room, a bedroom, or any other smaller or low-ceilinged space, where it will enhance the ambience, just as with classic chandelier lighting.
