Anthony Lee's custom USM Haller Coffee Station
Anthony Lee spent about a year sitting on the colour and design before his USM Haller unit finally became real. The approach to buying is one we can get behind, and the result was worth the wait.
The brief was a dedicated coffee station with enough counter space to house his Moccamaster, grinder and Stagg EKG kettle, plus proper storage for everything that tends to accumulate around a serious home coffee habit. The result is a warm, understated finish that suits the cosy, considered feel of the setup.
The unit combines open shelving, closed storage and a pull-out drawer for everyday coffee-making kit. He added castors — a practical decision as much as an aesthetic one: coffee grinds get everywhere, and being able to move the unit to clean underneath it, or shift it around the room entirely, is part of what makes the configuration work long-term.

Design it yourself
That's the point of USM Haller. The system is modular — dimensions, finish, the mix of open bays, closed doors and drawers are all determined by you before anything is made. If you've got a specific space or brief in mind, our buying guide walks through how to approach the configurator and what to think about before you start.
If you'd rather work from an established starting point, we also stock a selection of preconfigured units — the combinations that work across a wide range of spaces.
