Artek's Atelier Counter Stool complements the Atelier Chair, which was designed for the new restaurant of the National Museum in Stockholm in 2018. Commissioned by the museum as part of an initiative to foster contemporary Nordic design, the Swedish design practice TAF Studio partnered with Artek to release the universal wood chair for public and private spaces. This simple stool is formed of solid wood, the craftsmanship is evident in its stunningly simple finishes. Thanks to its weight and slender proportions the stool is easy to move around, the symmetrical design allows for flexible sitting at any orientation. With footrests reinforced by solid aluminium inlays the Atelier stool is sturdy and built to last. Available in a range of finishes this stool is wonderfully versatile.
