The Compas Direction Desk, designed by Jean Prouvé for Vitra, was originally developed through various models around 1950. Each featured the elegant splayed and tapered legs which echo the hands found within a compass - in French, "le compas".
The unique styling of the legs and base, hint at Prouvé's training as a metal smith. The solid wood tabletop, of a generous depth, adds a welcome contrast and is available in various finishes. A range of attractive hues can be selected for the powder coated base.
Compact, Compas is ideal for a number of applications including a home office.
