Description
Designed by Formstelle for Zeitraum, the Podest Atelier has been based on the "Modular" proportions system developed by Le Corbusier in which the proportions are a deliberate attempt to replace the rigidity of symmetry with an asymmetrical arrangement which feels correct.
Legs are what set furniture apart and this side unit is a perfect example of how much legs can change a piece. The Atelier range feature Formstelle's 25cm wooden, trestle-like construction which give the concept a contemporary, crafty, appealing look.
The Podest Atelier is available in 3 widths, suitable for use as a sideboard, storage unit or TV cabinet. W120cm features 2 drawers, W:174cm has three drawers and W:228cm has 4 drawers. All drawers have fully extendable runners, with a solid hornbeam comb jointed and lacquered interior.

Wood Details:
Ash - Ring-poured, pale, heavy and hard.
Oak - Firm, hard and elastic with visible annual rings.
American Walnut - Black-brown colour with striped texture and fine-poured marking.
