Description
Designed by Formstelle for Zeitraum, the Podest Storage Unithas been based on the "Modular" proportions system developed by Le Corbusier in which the proportions are a deliberate attempt to replace the rigidity of symmetry with an asymmetrical arrangement which feels correct. The legs are available in solid wood, stainless steel brushed or matt black powder coated.
Podest comes in 3 widths, suitable for use as a sideboard, storage unit or TV cabinet. W120cm features 2 drawers, W:174cm has three drawers and W:228cm has 4 drawers. All drawers have fully extendable runners, with a solid hornbeam comb jointed and lacquered interior.
Wood Details:
Ash - Ring-poured, pale, heavy and hard.
Oak - Firm, hard and elastic with visible annual rings.
American Walnut - Black-brown colour with striped texture and fine-poured marking.
