Description
The Vitra Plate Table was designed by Jasper Morrison for Vitra and in keeping with his philosophy of 'super normal' design this range of tables has a classic shape with finely balanced proportions.
The overall design of the Plate Table thrills with an accomplished interplay of soft rounded and precisely positioned edges. The refined base frame and slender table top complement each other perfectly yet are clearly distinct from each other.
Available in several sizes the Plate Table comes with a top in either white Carrara marble, white MDF or three oiled wood finishes - oak, smoked oak or American walnut.

Jasper Morrison
Jasper Morrison was born in London in 1959 and studied design at Kingston Polytechnic, The Royal College of Art and HDK in Berlin. In 1986 he set up his Office for Design in London and designed for many companies including Alessi, Flos, Alias, Cappellini, Colombo Design, FSB, Magis, Rosenthal, SCP, Sony and Vitra amongst others. His Glo Ball range of lamps for Flos and Hal Chairs for Vitra are some of his most commercially successful designs - proving how a simple aesthetic can create mass and timeless appeal.
