Description

The Vitra Hal Lounge Chair bears all the hallmarks of Jasper Morrison's design signature. With a small footprint Hal is an extremely comfortable lounge chair with a high back and supported head pillow. In fabric and leather options it come in two formats - with an integrated seat cushion or with a loose seat cushion. Jasper Morrison

Jasper Morrison was born in London in 1959 and studied design at Kingston Polytechnic, The Royal College of Art and HDK in Berlin. In 1986 he set up his Office for Design in London and designed for many companies including Alessi, Flos, Alias, Cappellini, Colombo Design, FSB, Magis, Rosenthal, SCP, Sony and Vitra amongst others. His Glo Ball range of lamps for Flos and Hal Chairs for Vitra are some of his most commercially successful designs - proving how a simple aesthetic can create mass and timeless appeal.
