Description

This Eames Chair is from the the Plywood Group of chairs designed by Charles & Ray Eames , a series of chairs combining different base frames with plywood shells. From the original LCM Lounge Chair, with a chrome leg base, they developed the DCW - a dining height chair where both the seat, backrest and leg structure were created from moulded plywood.

Manufactured today by Vitra the DCW Chair (or 'Dining Chair Wood', to give it its full title) is available with either a natural, or black ash finish.

The Eames’ first partnered with Vitra in 1957 to produce some of the most iconic pieces of furniture in the history of interior design.
