Description
Originally designed by Hvidt & Mølgaard in 1958, and released in 1959, the HM10 X Lounge Chair by &Tradition is a design classic. The laminated wood frame was inspired by the structure of traditional wooden tennis rackets, and even the rattan seat is reminiscent of a tightly strung racket.
Crafted from form-pressed sheets pushed towards a solid wood insert that is milled into shape and lacquered. The organic rattan is woven around a powder-coated steel frame, making it supportive and comfortable.
This striking lounge chair has an iconic, sloping silhouette and when viewed from the side it has a distinctive X shape. With its simple, understated aesthetic, this piece makes a statement in any space it occupies.
