Description
The Northern Birdy Floor Lamp is a 1952 design - from a series of floor, wall and table lamps - by Birger Dahl in a clearly modernist style. The Birdy series was produced and sold by the Norwegian electricity company Sønnico (Oslo) for many years and after a semi-retirement is now back in production. Manufactured by Northern it comes in several finishes. With its pivoting head and counter balanced arm this is a refined and slender floor lamp ideal for placing behind an armchair or over a workspace.
