The Bell Chair is a modern stacking chair designed by Konstantin Grcic for Magis. Produced with recycled polypropylene, which is obtained from the waste generated by Magis’ own furniture production and from the local car industry. This versatile chair has been made with ease in mind, and can be used indoors and outdoors, in practical, creative and innovative ways. This chairs is available in a calming colour palette and is a fantastic value chair with exceptional eco credentials.
Konstantin Grcic was born in Munich in 1965 and studied carpentry and cabinet-making at the Panham College in Dorset, before completing a masters degree at the Royal College of Art in London. He then spent some time working in Jasper Morrison's studio, before returning to Munich to set up on his own. His playfulness of materials and industrial design style has led him to collaborate with many highly regarded brands including Flos, Magis, Muji and Vitra. This design discipline can be seen in the May Day Light he developed for Flos and Hack Desk from Vitra.
