Description
Marcel Breuer's use of tubular steel to define lines in space which revolutionised furniture construction is beautifully exhibited in the 1925 Laccio Table from Knoll.
Along with his Wassily and Cesca chairs, Marcel Breuer's Laccio Tables are critical to the story of 20th-century design.
The Laccio Side/Coffee Table is available in two sizes and multiple top finish options including three laminate options and a variety of popular marble finishes.
Top Finish Options:
Marble Options -
Arabescato: White with grey veining.
Nero Marquina: Black marble with white and grey random veins.
White: White with slight veins and markings. NOT pure white.
Verde Alpi: Green marble with hues varying in tone and intensity.
Laminate Options -
LamWhite: White plastic laminate finish.
LamBlack: Black plastic laminate finish.
LamRed: Red plastic laminate finish.

Marcel Breuer
Marcel Breuer was the protégé of Bauhaus founder Walter Gropius and his entire body of work, both architecture and furniture, embodies the driving Bauhaus objective to reconcile art and industry. Inspired by bicycle construction, fabricated using the techniques of local plumbers, Breuer's first designs, including the Wassily Lounge Chair, remain among the most identifiable icons of the modern furniture movement. He was an early mentor to Florence Knoll during her time in the office of Walter Gropius and was subsequently an influential figure in Knoll's history.
