Health-positive and cross-performing design
The innovative 8Z Pellicle mesh material on the backrest allows air and body heat to pass through the seat and back for enhanced temperature regulation. The backrest is also designed with eight zones of varying tension to deliver optimal comfort and ergonomic support.

Adjustable to suit your needs
A forward shift in the frame encourages you to sit with a more natural seated posture. The height-adjustable seat means you can keep your feet flat on the floor to support your lower back and the chair back can tilt to a position that's comfortable for you.

Choosing your size
The Aeron is available in three sizes to suit different body types. Size A is designed for smaller frames (typically under 5'3"), Size B fits the widest range of users and is suitable for most people (roughly 5'3" to 6'2"), and Size C is designed for larger frames (typically over 6'2"). All three sizes share the same ergonomic features — only the dimensions differ. Colours and configuration
The Aeron is available incolours Graphite and Mineral, with options for polished aluminium and satin aluminium bases. Designed for a Lower Environmental Impact
Herman Miller continues to advance the Aeron Chair through sustainable innovation. Using generative design alongside decades of engineering expertise, the brand has reduced the aluminium base by 0.84 kg without compromising the chair's renowned strength or performance. Aeron's frame also incorporates increased post-industrial recycled content, contributing to an estimated 12% reduction in embodied carbon compared to the previous design.

In 2021, Aeron became the first chair in Herman Miller's collection to incorporate ocean-bound plastic, helping to prevent waste from reaching oceans and landfills. By June 2026, Herman Miller had diverted more than 660 metric tonnes of ocean-bound plasti - the equivalent of approximately 79 million plastic water bottle - demonstrating its ongoing commitment to more sustainable manufacturing.
