Why you'll love this chair
Although it was first designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1959 for the SAS Royal Hotel, the Little Giraffe Chair was put into production for the very first time in 2018. With the Giraffe Chair, Jacobsen enjoyed experimenting - creating a special version in leather on a star base as a gift for the hotel's manager. The Giraffe Chair originally had a wooden frame that outlined the shell and the base. It was then developed into the Little Giraffe - with a lower back and four-legged base.
Ideal for use in hotel lobbies, canteens or meeting rooms, as well as for use in a dining room at home, the Little Giraffe tells a wonderful story about the Arne Jacobsen's design process. Combining impeccable upholstery and a high quality finish, the Little Giraffe Chair is an excellent example of genuine mid-century Danish design. Place Little Giraffe Chairs around Fritz Hansen tables to create a stunning Scandinavian-inspired look.
