The Formakami JH5 Pendant Lamp from &Tradition is a poetic expression of both past and present. Crafted from rice paper, this beautiful pendant light echoes ancient lanterns from Asia - reinvented in a modern aesthetic where East meets West.

Description
Designed by Jaime Hayon, the Formakami JH18 Table Lamp for &Tradition challenges convention with its unique form. Dating back centuries, paper lanterns originate from Asian tradition where different colours, shapes and sizes connote different meanings. Here Hayon has dispensed with cultural formalities to create a series of lanterns all in white. This is the only table lamp in the series.
Hand crafted with rice paper this beautiful table lamp has a fluid design which means it sits comfortably in any space.

Jaime Hayon
Spanish artist-designer Jaime Hayon has shot to international acclaim through his use of designing with the intent of preserving and updating traditional objects through new forms of materials and technologies. His work is strongly characterized by his childhood passions, skateboard culture and graffiti art. Hayon set up his own design business in 2006 and has since collaborated with some of the word's most influential brands, including Fritz Hansen, Established and Sons, Moooi, Swarovski and his ongoing work as a creative consultant for the Spanish porcelain manufacturer Lladró. The Ro Chair and Favn Sofa are some of his most recent projects.
