The Carl Hansen FH420 Heritage Foot Stool, designed by Frits Henningsen in 1930, has been relaunched by Carl Hansen. Originally created to accompany the Heritage Armchair, this attractive stool works equally well on its own or as a practical seating solution.
After travelling around Europe, Henningsen became influenced by classic British and French furniture, taking traditional expressions and updating them with modern, minimalist styling. Driven by perfection, each stool is developed with a high level of detail using superior materials, from the solid oiled oak or walnut wood legs to the upholstery.
Heritage is available in a broad spectrum of colours from various Kvadrat fabrics and Carl Hansen leathers which are all suitable for both contract and domestic use.
Fabric Description :
Remix - 90% new wool & 10% nylon. Thin and strong, each colourway has two different threads. The result is irregular colours playing across its surface.
Thor Leather - This semi-aniline leather has a natural grain and its occasional slight scars and markings add to its individuality. Coated with a protective layer to increase practicality and withstand stains and fading, this leather will wear slightly over time adding to its appearance.
Divina Melange - 100% new wool with a subtle two tone appearance. Soft, tactile and very practical.
Loke Leather - Buffed, embossed and coated with a protective finish to create a very durable leather. With its uniform texture, this leather offers a practical choice with minimal change in appearance over time.
