Inspired by Japanese details, graphic Bauhaus art and the unpretentious way artist treat materials, Kristina Dam Studio takes a sculptural approach Nordic minimalism.

Kristina Dam graduated from The Royal Danish School of Fine Arts, Architecture and Design in Copenhagen and her great love for architecture and minimal graphic lines are evident in her designs. Since it's founding in 2012, Kristina Dam Studio has gone on to become a design powerhouse of furniture and accessories.

"Every design from Kristina Dam Studio have a distinct Scandinavian and architectural expression, that you will easily recognize. With clean lines and made of beautiful materials. Simplicity with an attitude." - Kristina Dam

Honest materials

Honest, genuine, natural and carefully selected material make up Kristina Dam's designs and each one is treated with respect. The oak is raw and lightly sanded, the leather soft and unprocessed. The entire production is European and the materials used are local. This love of good material is part of Kristina's Nordic design inheritance - a legacy they take very seriously.

Nordic minimalism

The Kristina Dam philosophy rests on the shoulders of the great Danish designers of the last century and shares a love of strong details and craftsmanship that has become synonymous with Scandinavian design. The collection is full of simple and graphic forms - Kristina Dam's take on Nordic minimalism.

Sculptural approach

Kristina Dam Studio designs all exude character and attitude. With each collection, they launch a new sculpture inspired by Japanese details and graphic Bauhaus art but the sculptural quality is key throughout all designs, not just these decorative objects.
