The Audo Copenhagen

Danish design studio Audo's founding philosophy of collaborative spirit is perfectly reflected in their new project at The Audo, Copenhagen.

AUDO : 'Ab Uno Disce Omnes', meaning 'From one, learn all'.

The Audo is a neo-baroque residence in Copenhagen's Nordhavn district, originally built in 1918 to house the headquarters of the Russian Trading Co. Ltd. Today, it plays home to Audo's new headquarters and creative showroom. Headed by former CEO and founder Bjarne Hansen, and conceived in partnership with Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen of Norm Architects, The Audo represents a unique concept that reflects the rapidly changing intersection of home, work and hospitality in a single, community-building universe. Here, Audo’s portfolio of contemporary designer furniture, lighting and accessories is presented and experienced in a new and authentic way, redefining how we use design, space and, ultimately, how we connect to one another. Nathan Williams from leading lifestyle publication Kinfolk led the creative - a space that masterfully unites co-working and event facilities, a cafe, restaurant, concept store and exclusive hotel residence through design, making transitions throughout each space seamless, inspiring and pleasurable. As proud stockists of Audo furniture, lighting and home accessories we were delighted to get a sneak peek of The Audo and if you're curious to see more, we've documented our visit below.
