Created in the 1950s by Danish artist Jacob Hermann, the Twirling Birds are now being manufactured by Warm Nordic. These delightful ornaments are fun for all ages, and can be used for either decoration or play. Made from solid oak, teak and walnut, each bird is finished with a black eye - which in some of them, is made from an individual piece of wood. The Twirling Birds are empathetic and warm - fun objects with an animal-like innocence. By considering wood to be a living material, Jacob Hermann created ornaments that have warmth and soul, making them an ideal addition to any living space or bedroom.
