Vitra Wooden Doll - No. 21
Designed by Alexander Girard, Wooden Doll No.21 now re-produced by Vitra was designed in 1968 as part of a series for the designers Santa Fe home. Inspired by his own extensive collection of works and popular art, this quirky, whimsical wooden figure is crafted from solid pine wood, hand painted and presented in a wooden gift box.

Alexander Girard
Alexander Girard was one of the decisive figures of post-war American design alongside his close friends George Nelson and Charles and Ray Eames. Girard designed a multitude of textiles that reflect his love of festive colours and patterns. He was an influential figure in the fields of furniture, exhibition and interior design as well as in the graphic arts throughout his career.
