Vitra Moca Dining Chair
The Vitra Moca Dining Chair, designed by Jasper Morrison, is a classic expression of his work. The chair embodies simplicity and elegance. With its oak veneer shells on both the shaped seat and backrest and metal legs, this chair looks stunning in any contemporary home. Available in either a natural or dark oak with either chrome plated or dark powder coated legs.

Description
The Vitra Moca Chair designed by Jasper Morrison embodies his "super normal" approach to design. This chair unites the accumulated knowledge of an experienced designer with Vitra's manufacturing expertise to create something that is both understated and responsible. The Moca chair is inspired by an unassuming appearance that seems to have always existed.

The base of the Moca chair is constructed with two arcs of steel tubing, one constituting the back legs and the other forming the front legs and backrest support. The shaped seat and back rest are made from two veneered plywood shells. The Moca chair is a simple, elegant design that will look stunning in any home interior.

Jasper Morrison
Jasper Morrison was born in London in 1959 and studied design at Kingston Polytechnic, The Royal College of Art and HDK in Berlin. In 1986 he set up his Office for Design in London and designed for many companies including Alessi, Flos, Alias, Cappellini, Colombo Design, FSB, Magis, Rosenthal, SCP, Sony and Vitra amongst others. His Glo Ball range of lamps for Flos and Hal Chairs for Vitra are some of his most commercially successful designs - proving how a simple aesthetic can create mass and timeless appeal.
