Description
The classic Eames Plastic Upholstered Armchair from Vitra transforms the original Plastic Armchair shell into a height adjustable office/operators armchair, known as PACC - which stand for "Plastic Arm Chair Cast Base". Designed by Charles & Ray Eames; the familiar silhouette is mounted on a polished aluminium five star castor base.
As with all Eames Plastic Chairs this version comes in the full range of mid century colours to suit any office interior. This upholstered version is available with either just the seat upholstered or the full interior of the shell upholstered in a range of Hopsak fabrics.

Charles & Ray Eames
Charles and Ray Eames were the husband-and-wife design team who helped shape modern design as we know it. Famous for their playful yet functional approach, the Eameses worked across architecture, furniture, industrial design and even film and photography — always with the belief that good design should improve everyday life.
Their collaboration with Vitra began in 1957 and has since produced some of the most iconic pieces in modern interiors, from the Eames Lounge Chair to the Eames Plastic Chair collection. More than just beautiful objects, their designs embody a philosophy of practicality, comfort and timeless style. As Charles Eames once put it, “Recognising the need is the primary condition for the design.”
Today, Vitra continues to honour and produce the Eames’ creations, ensuring their legacy lives on in homes, offices and public spaces around the world.
