The Vitra All Plastic Chair was designed by Jasper Morrison. Reminiscent of a classic wooden cafe chair its both graceful and comfortable and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It also comes in a range of colours to suit any decor.

Description
The All Plastic Chair from Vitra, designed by Jasper Morrison is reminiscent of a simple classic wooden chair. Made from polypropylene this reinterpretation has a seat and back organically shaped to offer greater comfort than conventional wooden models and with it's flat, finely refined yet rigid legs and frame the All Plastic Chair appears compact and strikingly graceful. For additional comfort the backrest is connected to the frame with axial shafts with rubber buffers that enable the construction to gently flex in response to the sitter's movements.
The colours of the seat and back differ slightly - variations in hue from the same colour palette - to give a two tone effect which re-affirms this chairs contemporary appeal. For indoor out or outdoor use, at home or in a commercial dining application, the multi purpose use of this chair knows no bounds.

Jasper Morrison
Jasper Morrison was born in London in 1959 and studied design at Kingston Polytechnic, The Royal College of Art and HDK in Berlin. In 1986 he set up his Office for Design in London and designed for many companies including Alessi, Flos, Alias, Cappellini, Colombo Design, FSB, Magis, Rosenthal, SCP, Sony and Vitra amongst others. His Glo Ball range of lamps for Flos and Hal Chairs for Vitra are some of his most commercially successful designs - proving how a simple aesthetic can create mass and timeless appeal.
