Description

The Alcove Highback Sofa by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Vitra was designed to take a sofa beyond merely being a piece of furniture and become a room of its own within a room

With its soft seat and backrest upholstery, as well as the high, flexible side and back panels, the Alcove Sofa has an external polished steel frame and creates the frame for a safe and secure world, a place for relaxed withdrawal from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Two people can sit opposite each other, leaning leisurely back against the side walls. This makes Alcove a social and cosy environment in which to sit and escape into.

Available in various fabrics Alcove comes in a range of different sizes - a love seat, two seater sofa and three seater sofa.

Please note each sofa comes with a back cushion. Additional back cushion(s) and side cushions are an additional option, two of each for the sofas and two side cushion/one back cushion for the love seat. Please select the tick box if you require these.

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec are internationally acclaimed French designers whose work has shaped contemporary furniture and product design over the past two decades. Born in Quimper, Brittany, the brothers established their Paris-based design studio in 1999 and quickly gained recognition for their unique ability to blend simplicity, functionality and poetic form.
