String Shelving Galvanised Outdoor Configurable System
The <strong>String Galvanised Shelving System</strong> is an extention of the original by Nils Strinning designcreated specificaly for outdoors/ conservatories, orangeries etc. Each component is made from galvanised metal to withstand everything the element will throw at it. Use in a garden, yard, potting shed, greenhouse or utility room!
The modular system consists of shelves, side panels, cabinetry, desk and much more. You can select each component separately below to configure the perfect shelving system for your space. Start small or go big - mix and match whichever components you like - String's endless options allow for a product that can grow with you and your space.
Also, you can utilise String's own "shelving builder" to get a visual representation of what your shelving unit will look like before purchasing.

Description
This variant of the String Shelving system has been specially designed for use outdoors. Each support component is galvanised whilst the shelves are made of 'aluzinc' - a steel coated with aluminum-zinc which collectively withstand everything the elements will throw at it! Naturally it can also be used indoors and looks spectacular in a kitchen/ utility room or even garage environment. As an outdoor or indoor storage solution or plant display it's remarkably simple to design a composition of your choice for displaying everything from plants to tools.
Components are composed of wall mounted or floor standing side supports on which to hang your shelves which are screwed into the walls. Each come in single or two packs and whilst the floor panels have one foot which supports it from the floor up, the wall versions can be mounted directly on the wall at whatever height you choose. Next, select the shelves required. These each hang on the side supports and are 58cm with depths of 20 or 30 cm and with low or high edges.
Free Standing Shelving Explained
The free-standing shelf intended for outdoor use fits equally well on a smaller balcony as on a larger terrace. The shelf is completely free-standing but, if desired, can be secured to the base it is standing on. A complete section of the free-standing shelf consists of one back panel, two uprights and two galvanized floor panels with height 85cm and depth 30cm. To build additional sections, one upright along with one panel for each section is required. We recommend at least one back panel, preferably placed in the middle, for a free-standing shelf consisting of three sections. Finish with hooks or double hooks for a creative display and to maximise storage.
