Simon Karkov is a graduate from The Danish Academy of Architecture. Since the 1960s he has worked for several architecture practices in Denmark. Over the years before his retirement he mainly worked for the Municipality of Frederiksberg and projects include the Frederiksberg Hospital and Frederiksberg Gymnasium. His design awards include the Norm 69 Pendant Light from Normann Copenhagen, Formlandprisen 2002 and best item at IMM Cologne, 2003.
