Trained sculptor, Aage Petersen (1902-1982) studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Copenhagen. Developing his naturalistic sculptural work that covered many different themes, with his most notable the Fakse Monument produced in 1938. Petersen also produced wall decorations for Copenhagen Zoo, and designed lamps for the Danish Lighting Brand, Le Klint.
